Recently, I have gained deep access to underground or otherwise classified military bases in the United States. Today I go global. Let's take a look at some of the most interesting military bases around the world.

Deep Underground Military Bases
The first base is one you've probably heard of, given its recent popularity on the Netflix show Pine Gap. I'll be honest, I had no idea Pine Gap was actually a military facility when I watched a few episodes on Netflix. However, it's a base surrounded by both security and privacy (and now name recognition), and for those reasons I want to see it first.
Pine Gap is a military installation in rural Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia. Pine Gap is actually a US military base in the middle of nowhere in Australia. Before you say this, I know I'm cheating a bit by technically including a US-powered base from the start, but it only seems appropriate since it's so far from the continental US. than any other inhabited place in the world.

Pine Gap can be described as a major US intelligence site. But the best way to describe Pine Gap is that it is a place where the most intelligent spies and researchers in the United States gather, gather information, and then pass that information on to the armed forces, which all its members use. Established in 1916, Portondown is the oldest chemical warfare research center in the world. The Porton Down site, set on thousands of acres in the remote Wiltshire countryside, has no shortage of space and privacy, allowing scientists to conduct various tests on animals, humans and even suspected extraterrestrials. While we know that Kapustin Yar has been used to test Russian missiles in the past, it is also rumored that Kapustin Yar also hosts a secret double existence.
